Meet our loved up couple, Dora and Dougie!
Dougie and Dora both came in as single rabbits but our rabbit team decided to try bonding them together as they were both so lonely. As you can tell, it’s been a happy outcome!
Dougie is our 2 year old Angora x Cashmere Lop – he is an absolute sweetheart. He was the last left of his siblings after a few came into our centre for rehoming after an accidental litter.
He will need grooming daily/every other day to keep on top of his gorgeous fluff.
Dora is our sweet 2 year old lop lady who’s got nothing but love and her cheeky antics to share with you. She is the queen of boops and you’ll always find her booping your legs.
They both love foraging, digging and causing chaos.
They can live indoors or outdoors, providing their accommodation meets our requirements
If you feel you could offer Dougie and Dora their forever home – please fill in this application form; https://www.rspca-isleofwight.org.uk/adoptable-animals/small-animals/small-animals-application-form/
Our requirements are:
Rabbits should be housed in a 3m x 2m x 1m high accommodation with 24/7 access to the whole area. This is our minimum sizing requirement and should never be shut in a hutch/smaller area for any amount of time. For more information please visit – https://www.rspca.org.uk/adviceandwelfare/pets/rabbits/environment
Rabbits should have plenty of enrichment/hides within their safe accommodation. If housed outside, it should be predator proof with correct wire thickness.
Our team are happy to help advise on suitable set ups.
They are neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated.
