Introducing Miss Sassy, unfortunately this lady hasn’t had the best start to life. Before she arrived with us Sassy was sadly physically abused, originally this left her fearing men. But with behaviour support, Sassy has flourished into a lovely friendly cat and has even formed a bond with her male foster carer by laying across his chest and taking a cosy nap!

Sassy has spent some time in a foster and they have said – “She jumps on my lap and now wants to headbutt me and rub against me. She loves my company, sits near me or on me all the time, meows at me when she wants to play especially with her fish wand šŸ’— she brings her toys to me as a present (honoured!ā˜ŗļø). It’s so beautiful to see her grow!”

Sassy is looking for an adult only home, or a home with children 14+ who can respect boundaries and work at Sassy’s pace. To begin with she can be unsure and show some conflicting behaviour but once she’s in a home environment and bonded she shows a lot of love and trust.

If you can offer Sassy her forever home please follow the link to fill out one of our application formsĀ  Cat Application Form – RSPCA Isle of Wight

Please note – our cattery team responds to all forms via email, please remember to check spam folder.
