Gurgi arrived at the shelter as a stray, and the world has always felt like a very big, very overwhelming place to him. He’s a nervous boy who startles easily and prefers to watch life from a quiet corner, taking everything in at his own pace.
But here’s the beautiful part: despite his fears, Gurgi wants to trust.
Over the past few weeks, he has formed a small but meaningful bond with one staff member. With them, he’s begun to show tiny glimmers of bravery—leaning in for a gentle fuss, accepting soft strokes, and even offering a few slow blinks of trust and tiny little meows. These moments may be small, but for Gurgi, they’re huge steps forward.
Gurgi is looking for an understanding owner who will take things at Gurgi’s pace, Staff can give post adoption support to help owners settle Gurgi in and the best way to bond with him and help him thrive. He would prefer an adult only home with no other pets.
