Meet Bella, Our Big-Hearted beauty!

Bella is a two-year-old Labrador x Cane Corso with a gentle soul and a whole lot of love to give. Don’t be fooled by her size – she’s a big, friendly giant who adores cuddling up on the sofa with her human friends and never goes anywhere without her beloved toy pig.

She is currently on a training program and is making fantastic progress at meeting new people, passing unfamiliar people and dogs on a walk at a short distance. Her adopter will need to continue with her training to help her keep building confidence. Bella has been in our care for 202 days and is now ready to find her forever home after recovering from a surgical procedure to remove a cherry eye — a condition caused by swelling in the third eyelid. She’s bounced back beautifully and is more than ready to swap kennel life for cosy nights, long walks, and endless cuddles.

Bella can be a little unsure when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and forms strong bonds with those she trusts. She walks nicely on the lead most of the time, she can occasionally pull, so she’ll need a confident, experienced handler familiar with large breeds.
