Why Foster? Here’s why …..
After 469 days in our kennels, three-year old Storm has finally found comfort and calm — thanks to a loving foster home.
Once nervous around people and protective of her toys, Storm has blossomed through patient training and care from our team. She now enjoys sunny afternoons rolling in the grass, gentle fuss from her foster family, and cosy naps on the sofa.
Her progress is remarkable — from learning to trust familiar people around her toys to calmly walking past other dogs. Fostering has given Storm the stability and love she needed to thrive.
Our Animal Manager Hannah Allen-Western said: “Fostering has given Storm something that kennels, however caring, cannot fully provide — the stability, comfort, and love of a home environment. This vital step not only helps animals like Storm build confidence and practice positive behaviours, but it also gives them the best possible chance of finding their forever home.
We are currently looking for dedicated foster carers who can offer a temporary home to animals in need. With full training and support provided, fostering is an incredibly rewarding way to make a difference.
